I. Morally Good

- This is definitely a morally good activity. Programmers do this to earn a living. It even improve the course of IT Industry in many ways. Good in the sense because it help business establishments to be more active and be more productive as well as well organized systems.
II. Morally Bad
- SOFTWARE PIRACY
- With its name, we can say that software piracy is morally bad. Since it is a form of stealing. According to the E-Commerce Law of the Philippines, piracy is some form of “unauthorized reproduction, copying, dissemination, distribution, importation, removal, alteration, substitution, modification, storage , uploading, downloading, communication, making available for public, or broadcasting of protected material, electronic signature or copyrighted works. If a person is pirating a software, he is actually taking off the right to the owner of the credit that the owner deserves.
III. Morally Good or Bad
- SPAMMING
- Spamming is the act of sending unsolicited electronic messages in bulk. It is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Good in the sense that some are informative and useful that depends on your interests. Bad in the sense that spam mails usually goes in volume and it really tedious to read these mails. Most of spam mails contain useless text that make it very irritating...source

ReplyDeletewe have our own interpretation to the things that we were going to do some of the bad activities that mention above is a good thing for others and there are good activities that is bad for others also.
well i can say that, it depends to the person to say whether it is a bad thing or a good thing those activities you posted;)
in using computer, there are always good and bad. If you think this things are good and bad,then I respect your opinion.
ReplyDeleteEthically speaking, if there's a violation , there's a punishment. But nowadays, things going complicated that's why, those implemented laws that are related to the Computer use, doesn't follow...... STILL, yet they don't even care. :)

ReplyDeletecreating software for business might not be good at all times what if the business that they creating software is intended for pornography?. I think you should not make it general, make your example more specific..
ReplyDeletecreation of business software, as the word itself, it morally good for me. good because its only purpose is that to help any business establishment. it can be for pornography but it will benefit the establishment isn't it? it is good in the sense that it also helps the programmer. so that's why i consider it morally good.
